  • Mindbend 2024 - Chem-E-Car Competition (SVNIT) & AFFICHE AZeotropy (IITB) Team ChES Chem-E-Car secured 1st place in the Chem-E-Car competition at SVNIT's annual techno-managerial fest, Mindbend 2024. The team also won 1st place in AFFIChE at AZeotropy (IIT Bombay) for presenting a microbial fuel cell-based Chem-E-Car model.

    • Rupesh Yadav (U21CH091) was awarded the Donal F. Othmer Sophomore Excellence Award by AIChE for his outstanding academic performance in the previous academic year.
  • DG appreciation at Republic Day Celebration 2024
    • A NSS cadet Prathmesh Vyas (U22CH053) from our department met with defence minister, vice president, COAS, CNS. Represented SVNIT and Gujarat directorate on national level. He’s became the first student from SVNIT and all NITs and IITs to complete RDC.

  • Mr. Asfak Patel (D18CH002) is working as a team member on project from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on the project entitled “A Compact Novel Hybrid System for the human urine recycling process and potable water recovery for long-term human space mission” which based on his Ph.D. work and its implementation in space station.
  • Mr. Asfak Patel (D18CH002) secured a First grant for the Startup amount of 19,00,000/- (INR) by the State Level Empowered Committee (SLEC), Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.
