  • Prof. Z.V.P. Murthy is listed in the “World ranking of scientist (2%)”, published by the research team from Stanford University, USA, October 2020 and October 2021.
  • Prof. Z.V.P. Murthy became Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) in March 2022.
  • Prof. Z.V.P. Murthy supervised PhD student Lateshkumar B. Chaudhari (DS07CH405) thesis “Studies on removal of heavy metals by nanofiltration" received “IIChE Award for the Year 2013: Dr A V Rama Rao Foundation’s Best Ph.D. Thesis and Research Award in Chemical Engineering/Technology”. It is a National Level Award given away by the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE).
  • Prof. Z.V.P. Murthy supervised PhD student Jignasa N. Solanki (DS07CH404) thesis "Synthesis and applications of metallic nanoparticles" received “IIChE Award for the Year 2014: Dr A V Rama Rao Foundation’s Best Ph.D. Thesis and Research Award in Chemical Engineering/Technology”. It is a National Level Award given away by the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE).
  • Prof. Z.V.P. Murthy supervised PhD student Virang N. Lad (D10CH401) thesis "Studies on effects of interfacial interactions of some natural materials on oil-in-water emulsions and rheology of selected complex fluids" received “Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) Awards-2015", under the aegis of "Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions" (SRISTI).
  • Prof. M. Mukhopadhyay was recognized for her top 1% articles (2015-2019) in Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Research: ACS Publications.
  • Prof. Jigisha K. Parikh appointed as Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry.
  • Prof. Jigisha K. Parikh received credentials as highest cited author (top 10 % citation) – RSC.
  • Prof. Jigisha K. Parikh was selected as Fellow under “Professor B.D. Tilak Visiting Fellowship Endowment” for the year 2021-22.
  • Prof. Jigisha K. Parikh and Dr. Meghal A. Desai, received recognition for contribution towards research in Cleaner production and Clean Technology by Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, Government of Gujarat during year 2018-2019 & 2019-2020.
  • Dr. Chetan M. Patel joined as Technical Co-Director (Honorary) in a new start-up company PharmaDEM, Hyderabad.
  • Dr. S. R. Patel and Dr. Meghal A. Desai, received recognition for contribution towards research in Cleaner production and Clean Technology by Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, Government of Gujarat during year 2021-22.
  • The start-up URISOL TECHNOLOGY PVT.LTD has been formed under the mentorship of Dr. Arvind Kumar Mungray and Dr. Alka Mungray. Mr. Asfak Patel and Dr. Ambika Arkatkar are the directors of this start-up. The start-up will undertake, promoter engage all kinds of research, development, marketing and management work in setting up facilities that can support waste to energy processes.
  • Dr. V. N. Lad is State coordinator for National Perspective Plan for Technical Education in India which is an AICTE-MHRD initiative for the Long Term Planning of Technical Education by AICTE (to improve the usefulness of technical education in the country).
  • Dr. G. C. Jadeja, received recognition for contribution towards research in Cleaner production and Clean Technology by Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, Government of Gujarat during year 2020-21.
  • Dr. Sarita Kalla is conferred the prestigious Prof. Shymal Kanti Sanyal Memorial Award for the Best Ph.D. Thesis - 2019 in the Area of Membranes Research with Significant Commercial Potential awarded by Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE)
