Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

  1. PEO1: To impart the knowledge of engineering subject matter incorporating computer as a tool and building a bright career in the area of design, simulation, manufacturing and production.
  2. PEO2: To create technical ability in students by hands-on experience of design software to develop digital parts and CAM software to generate tool path for machining and conducting various experiments using latest infrastructure to enhance research approach.
  3. PEO3: To construct the confidence by employing various learning resources for solving engineering / industrial problems, designing products for social economic issues to explore skill of entrepreneur.
  4. PEO4: To develop professionalism to formulate and solve problems of interest individually and in team with high value of ethics.
  5. PEO5 To apply an environment of communication through oral and written presentation of technical reports derived research reports so as to interact with academicians, researchers, and industrial practices.

Programme Outcomes (PO)

  • PO1: An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
  • PO2: An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
  • PO3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSO)

At end of the programme graduation, the students of the program will have:

  • PSO1: Design, analyse, formulate and solve engineering problems using computer software, tools and techniques.
  • PSO2: Adopt and demonstrate multidisciplinary approach to solve design, manufacturing and allied problems.
