Registrar : Dr. Pramod Mathur

Dr. Pramod Mathur holding the post of Registrar, SVNIT, Surat (on deputation) from 11.02.2020. He is on deputation from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad where he served as Registrar with Addl Charge and Joint Registrar (Examination & Academic). He served in many fields of academic administration including Finance and Accounts, Stores & Purchase, Establishment, Academic & Examination, Project Accounts etc. He has also served at Indian Institute of Forest Management Bhopal.
Dr Mathur has completed his Bachelor Degree (B.Com.) from PMB Gujarati Commerce College, Indore (Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore) and Master Degree (Master of Commerce – Taxation & Accounts) from Shri Vaishnav Commerce College, Indore (DAVV, Indore). He has completed his Doctorate degree in Management from Department of Management Studies, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad [now IIT (ISM), Dhanbad] in the year 2006 on the research topic ‘Developing An Accounting Framework For Technical Institutions in India With Special Emphasis on University Level Institutions. He has contributed in many core Committees/Teams at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad for the growth of the institute. He has also Participated in International Week of MOBILE+ under Staff Exchange Programme at Universidade do Porto, Porto, Portugal during November 2016. He has more than 29 year working experience with academic and research institutions in various fields of academic administration.
