Welcome to Moher Teresa Bhavan, known as one of the best girls’ hostels among all IITs and NITs! Our hostel provides a cozy and welcoming environment for students. MOTHER TERESA BHAVAN was established in year 2009. It is an abode of peace and convenience, offering spacious, well-furnished rooms with ample ventilation and high-speed internet. The hostel ensures safety with 24/7 security and provides a garden lawn and play area for recreation. Fitness enthusiasts can benefit from the gymnasium, while the lush green gardens and balcony views offer tranquil vistas. A magazine room caters to the intellectually curious, and an adolescence clinic addresses health concerns. The beauty parlor allows for personal grooming sessions. Residents are treated to excellent meals in the mess, and the hostel maintains cleanliness with regular housekeeping. Our hostel is named Mother Teresa Bhavan, as a tribute to Mother Teresa. Mother Teresa was an Albanian-Indian Catholic nun and the founder of the Missionaries of Charity. This religious congregation provides homes for people who are dying of HIV/AIDS, leprosy, and tuberculosis. The congregation also runs soup kitchens, dispensaries, mobile clinics, children's and family counselling programmers, as well as orphanages and schools. Mother Teresa received several honours, including the 1962 Ramon Magsaysay Peace Prize and the 1979 Nobel Peace Prize.
