Zaveri (SVNIT, Surat) and Dr. Sankita J. Patel (SVNIT, Surat), Dr. B. L. Parne (SVNIT, Surat), Dr. Dipti Rana (SVNIT, Surat), Dr. Suresh Dahiya (SVNIT, Surat) and Dr. Anand Darji (SVNIT, Surat), delivered the expert talks and shared their expertise in the field of drone and various applications domains.
The real-time assembly of drones and hands-on with drones conducted by Phoenix Aero Club, SVNIT with the latest tools and technology.
Dr. Pranav Lad, from Mathworks, Pune shared the industry knowledge to build up drone applications using the industrial software Matlab. Dr. Pawan Kumar, Town and Country Planning Organization, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, GoI, New Delhi has introduced how drone technology is utilized in Tier-II Cities and encouraged the students to take up various real-life applications related to smart cities.
The training programme was concluded on 30th June 2023 and Head, DoCSE appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the participants and encouraged them to attend such programmes. A huge response for registration was received and 60 participants from various institutes have attended the program successfully. Participants interacted with renowned academicians and industry persons for their future endeavors. Further, the participants identify stepping stones for their research. The organizing committee is thankful to Meity, Government of India to provide the opportunity to conduct this boot camp 2.0.
