The Semiconductor Manufacturing and Testing Center (SMTC) is dedicated
to developing semiconductor-based devices across a wide spectrum of
applications, including energy-harvesting: Photovoltaic Devices,
Energy Storage Devices: Super Capacitors, Fuel Cells,
Photoelectrochemical Cells, Sensors, Quantum Technologies, Memory
Devices, but not limited to the above-mentioned areas only. The center
covers all the aspects, including device fabrication,
characterization, and modeling, with three labs:
‣ Semiconductor Technology (SemTec) Laboratory
‣ Analysis and Testing (AnTes) Laboratory
‣ Design and Simulation (DeSim) Laboratory
SVNIT Surat is launching a Summer school on semiconductor technology that is targeted at UG/PG students fascinated by semiconductor manufacturing and packaging.
