About Society of Automotive Engineers

SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) is the student chapter at SVNIT that brings together the aspiring automobile engineers of our campus, provides them with the facility to hone their skills, and encourages them to compete at national competitions such as Formula Bharat, Student Formula Races, Aero Modelling, Drone Design, and Electric Go-Kart Racing. The team also focuses on Research and Innovation in the field of automobile engineering, thus upholding the spirit of technology, engineering, and enterprise within the student community.
We work on various projects under the mentorship of our Faculty Chairman Dr. R. D. Shah and Faculty Co-Chairman, Dr. Rohan Rahul Pande, and Dr. J Venkataramanaiah. We are looking forward to advancing our projects and engaging in competitions where top teams worldwide can compete.
