Hi, I am Sankita Patel. I am working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Engineering, S V National Institute of Technology, Surat (NIT-Surat). I carry total 15 years of teaching and research experience. I have been employed at NIT-Surat since May-2009.
I completed my Ph.D in Computer Engineering from NIT-Surat. My Ph.D. research abstract may be found on this website.
I teach courses at B.Tech.(Computer Engineering) and M.Tech.(Computer Engineering). Major courses I teach are Introduction to Computer Security (M.Tech. I), Software Engineering (B.Tech.IV), Data Structures and Algorithms (B.Tech. II) and Fundamentals of Computers and Programmnig (B.Tech. I).
My research interest includes Information Security and Privacy, Privacy Issues in Data Mining, Security in Wireless Sensor Networks and Privacy Issues in Online Social Networks.
